Anmol Ice Cream

Our little place is in Malad East, right in Sahakar Nagar. We are at Gala 1-A. It is a small space, but we have enough room for the freezers. Anmol Ice Cream has been here for a while now. The area around Sahakar Nagar gets quite busy in the evenings when people are coming back from work. We usually have the shutters half-up in the morning while we get things ready. The floor is always a bit cold because of the machines. We keep the different tubs lined up. It gets sticky sometimes when we are scooping fast. Malad East is a crowded part of town, so there is always noise from the street. Gala 1-A is easy to find if you know the lane. We don’t have fancy chairs or anything like that. People just stand around and eat. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to worry about the ice cream melting, but usually, it is fine. We use a lot of milk and sugar every day. The neighbors know us well. We’ve seen kids grow up coming here. Sahakar Nagar has changed a bit over the years, but Gala 1-A stays the same. We just keep the lights on and the freezers running. It’s a simple life in Malad East, just selling scoops to whoever walks by the door. We don't have a big staff, just us making sure the containers stay full.
