Ankita Travels Tours is tucked away in the Satnam Shopping Center. If you know BTM Layout 2nd Stage, you know it gets pretty crowded around here, especially near 3rd Cross on 29th Main. We’ve been at 3 D S Lane for a few years now. The office isn’t much to look at, just some desks piled with papers and a few maps on the wall that are probably out of date. We spend most of our time on the phone or staring at computer screens trying to find decent routes for people. It’s noisy because of the shoppers outside, but you get used to it after a while. Sometimes people just wander in while they’re doing their weekly shopping at the center to ask about bus timings or a quick trip somewhere nearby. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the ropes. It can be stressful when a flight gets canceled or someone loses their documents, but we try to help them figure it out as best as we can. It’s not a glamorous job. Most of the time it's just checking prices and making sure names are spelled right on the forms. We’ve had some regulars who have been coming to us since we opened. They like that they can just walk in and talk to a real person instead of some website. It's just a regular local business trying to keep things moving day by day.
