Anil Ice Cream Parlour

If you live in Kharodi, you probably know Rajnee Tower. That’s where we set up Anil Ice Cream Parlour. It’s a residential area, so it’s not as crazy as the main market. We get a lot of families who come down after they’ve had their dinner. The shop is small and the lighting is a bit yellow, which makes it feel cozy in a way. We have a fridge that hums pretty loud, but after a few hours, you don't even hear it anymore. I spend most of my time behind the glass. I’ve gotten good at guessing which flavor someone wants just by looking at them. The kids are the hardest to please because they change their minds three times before I can get the scoop out. We don’t mind, though. It’s part of the day. We have a small bench outside where people sit and chat. Sometimes the neighborhood cats come around looking for a drop of milk. The walls have a few scuffs from where the delivery crates hit them. We try to keep the place tidy, but it's hard when you're busy all day. We don't have any fancy decorations or bright neon signs. Just a plain board with the name on it. It’s a quiet life here at Rajnee Tower. We just keep the freezer cold and wait for the sun to go down so the neighbors come out to visit us.
