Angel Delights

We have been operating out of Room No 46 in the Iqbal Building in Dadar West for a while now. It is not a fancy place, just a small space where we get our work done. The building is old and has a lot of character, but the stairs can be a bit steep when you are carrying heavy bags. We spend most of our time here preparing different sweets and snacks. Dadar West is always moving, so there is constant noise from the street outside our window near Gok. We don't have a big display window or anything. Usually, people find us because they live nearby or someone told them about us. The room is filled with the smell of sugar and whatever we are baking or mixing that day. It gets quite hot in there during the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We are just a small team trying to make things that people want to eat. It's a lot of repetitive work, like packing boxes and checking the labels, but we don't mind it. Sometimes we run out of ingredients and have to run down to the local market quickly. It is just a typical small business in a crowded part of the city. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just us in Room 46, doing what we do.
