Indian Leather Creations

We are located at B- 51 Nand Bhuvan Industrial Estate on Mahakali Caves Road. If you know the area, you know it’s a lot of climbing and narrow streets. Indian Leather Creations is a place where we work with our hands every single day. The smell of leather is the first thing you notice when you walk into our unit. It is a strong smell that stays on your clothes even after you go home. We have big rolls of hides stacked in the corners and heavy sewing machines that make a lot of noise. It’s not a quiet place at all. Being in Nand Bhuvan means we are around a lot of other small factories, so there is always a bit of chaos outside with trucks trying to turn around. We spend our time cutting the leather and making sure the stitches are strong. Sometimes a piece isn't right and we have to start over, which is frustrating but it happens. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of the space is taken up by the work benches and the materials we use. We just focus on making things that last. It is hard work and our hands are usually stained by the end of the shift, but that’s just how it goes when you work with leather.
