Amul Ice Cream Parlour

We have been running this Amul Ice Cream Parlour in Bandra West for a few years now. The shop is situated right in the New Timber Market area. It gets quite noisy during the day with all the trucks moving wood around and the workers shouting. Our place isn't very big, mostly just enough room for the deep freezers and a small counter where I sit. We keep all the standard stuff you’d expect from Amul, like the chocolate cones, vanilla tubs, and those little cups. Sometimes the delivery truck comes at odd hours and blocks the whole narrow street, which makes the neighbors a bit annoyed. The lighting inside is a little harsh, but it helps people see the menu on the wall. We don't really have a place for people to sit down and eat, so most customers just grab their ice cream and head back out to the market. It gets very busy on Sunday evenings when families are out for a walk. I try to keep the glass on the freezers clean, but with all the dust from the timber market, it is a constant battle. The floor is just plain tiles that have seen better days. It is a simple business. We aren't doing anything fancy here. We just make sure the freezers are cold and the stock is full. It is just me and one other guy working most shifts. If you are ever near the market and want something cold, we are right there.
