Amul Ice Cream Parlour

We've been here on S V Road in Goregaon East for a while now. It gets busy outside with all the traffic, but inside it’s just the usual setup. Most days it's just about keeping the freezers running and making sure the lights stay on. People stop by after work or when they’re heading home from the station. We don’t have fancy seating or anything. It’s just a counter and some tubs of ice cream. Sometimes the power fluctuates, which is a headache because of the cooling. We try to keep things tidy, but it's a small space. We know most of the people who live nearby because they’ve been coming here for years. It's not a big corporate operation. Just a regular shop where you can grab a cone or a pack of family brick. The monsoon months are usually slower because of the rain, but when it’s hot, everyone is looking for something cold. We usually open up around mid-morning and stay late into the night. Sometimes we run out of the popular flavors like chocolate or mango before the next delivery arrives. That's just how it goes. If you are walking down S V Road, you'll probably see our sign. It’s not a very big shop, but we’re here every day. We don't do anything special, just sell the ice cream that comes in. My cousin helps out sometimes when I need a break. It's a simple life. No big goals, just keeping the ice cream frozen.
