Ameya Resort

Even though the name is Ameya Resort, we actually run things from Flat No 111 in the A Wing on the ground floor over in Dadar West. Being right opposite Jai Gopal Industries means there is always some kind of truck moving or people walking past our window. This office is where all the planning happens, even if it feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of stuff going on at once. We spend hours on the phone talking to people about their holidays and making sure the dates line up right. It’s a lot of juggling schedules and writing down notes on whatever scrap of paper is handy. The ground floor location is convenient because we don't have to wait for the lift, which is a blessing in a busy Dadar building. We keep our files here and handle all the boring administrative stuff that goes into running a getaway place. Sometimes the noise from the street makes it hard to hear, so we have to shut the windows and just deal with the heat for a bit. We aren't some big travel agency with a glass front; we’re just working out of a flat and doing our best to keep everything organized. It’s a lot of emails and checking lists, but it’s our daily routine and we have gotten pretty good at managing the chaos of the city while we work. It’s just how we do things here.
