Amey Travels

We have been running Amey Travels from this spot at Matunga West on Nibm Road for quite a long time now. Our office is situated at number 4. Most of our mornings begin with a quick cup of tea before we dive into the day’s bookings and route planning. It’s a fairly busy area. People often stop by after they finish their grocery shopping or while they are heading toward the station. We handle a variety of tasks here, mostly focusing on train tickets and arranging bus travel for local families going on their yearly holidays. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but we have gotten used to the sound over the years. This isn’t a fancy corporate setup. It is just a small room with a few desks and some maps pinned to the walls. We spend most of our hours either on the phone or looking at schedules on the computer. It is honest, steady work. Dealing with travel plans can get messy sometimes because schedules change without much notice. Flights get delayed and buses sometimes don't show up on time, so we spend a lot of our afternoon calling folks to keep them updated. We know most of the people who live around Nibm Road. If you walk past, you will likely see us staring at our screens. We don't have a marketing department. It is just us trying to help neighbors get to their destinations without a lot of fuss.
