Amba Prasad Travels

Our travel office is located on 90 Feet Road in Ghatkopar East. We are in the Dalvi Estate, which is right across from the Ganesh Mandir. It is a very easy landmark to find because there are always people visiting the temple. The road outside is constantly busy with rickshaws and buses, so there is a lot of honking throughout the day. Our office is small and simple. We have a couple of desks, some old maps on the walls, and a lot of registers where we write things down. We spend most of the day on the phone or talking to people who walk in to ask about bus timings or train tickets. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have a ceiling fan that does its best. Sometimes the neighbors from the Oshiwara area come by just to chat for a bit. We don't have any fancy computers or big screens showing holiday destinations. It’s just us and our ledgers. The door stays open most of the time to let some air in, even if it brings in the dust from the street. We’ve been at this spot in Dalvi Estate for quite some time now. We know the rhythms of the street, like when the temple gets crowded or when the traffic is going to be at its worst. We just keep things moving, helping people get where they need to go without any fuss.
