We started the business years ago here on Karve Road. We are in Shripad Apartment, right near where everyone goes for Natubhai Sweet. If you see the sweets shop, you are basically there. It is just a small office where we handle bookings for people wanting to go out of town or just needing a car for the day. My brother and I usually handle the calls. It gets noisy outside with all the Deccan traffic, but inside we just focus on the registers and the phone. People come in to ask about bus timings or if a car is free for a wedding. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything, just some chairs and a desk with a lot of papers. Sometimes the printer acts up, but we get the tickets done eventually. Most of the people around Pantnagar know us by now. We spend most of our day talking to drivers and making sure they know where to pick people up. It is mostly local folks coming in. It is a bit cramped with all the files from the last few years, but we know where everything is. You can drop by if you are near the apartment, someone is usually here from morning until late evening. We started with just one car and now we manage a few more. It is simple work, just getting people from one place to another without too much fuss.
