Amar Engineers

Amar Engineers is situated right in the middle of the Ghatkopar Industrial Area, at number 27. It's a busy spot, surrounded by other workshops and small factories. The sound of machinery is pretty much the background music of our daily lives here. Our space is more of a workshop than a proper office, with tools and parts scattered around where they’re needed most. We’ve been in this industrial estate for a long time now. Most of the other business owners around here are people we’ve known for years. We usually start the day early, before the heat really kicks in, and stay until the jobs are finished. There’s always some grease on the floor and the smell of metal in the air, but that’s just the nature of what we do. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If you show up, you’ll likely find us in the back working on something. We prefer it that way. It’s honest work, and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain off our equipment. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, and we just take that as a sign to go grab some chai from the stall down the road. It’s a grounded way to live, working with our hands and keeping things running for our customers. We just keep our heads down and finish the work.
