Aman Tourist Travels

Aman Tourist Travels is situated right on S G Barve Road in Chembur. We are easy to spot if you are looking opposite Thakkar Bappa Colony on Rani Sati Marg. The road outside is always packed with trucks and buses, so there is a lot of dust and noise coming through the door. I spend a lot of my day talking to people who want to book a ticket or find out about bus timings. The office has some old posters on the wall and a very big map that we use sometimes. It’s a simple place with a few benches for people to wait while we get their tickets printed out. Vatsalabai Nai is the area name people use around here, and it’s a very busy part of Chembur. I usually have a cup of tea on the table and a stack of registers to keep track of the bookings. We don’t have fancy software, just honest work and making sure the buses leave on time. Sometimes a driver will come in to complain about the traffic or the heat, and we just listen and offer them some water. It’s a long day, starting early and often staying open until the last bus is sorted out. People from the colony across the road often drop by just to ask for directions or check the time. It’s a very local way of doing things, and we like it that way despite the constant noise of the traffic.
