Our office is over in Borivali West, specifically in IC Colony at Mhatre Towers. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know it is a bit quieter and greener than the rest of the city, which makes it a nice place to come to work every day. We deal with the travel systems and software. It is mostly sitting at computers and handling data, making sure people can book their trips without the systems freezing up or crashing. The office is up on the fourth floor in room 306. The lift works most of the time, but sometimes we just take the stairs to save ourselves a bit of time. We have a few desks and way too many wires running across the floor. It is not some high-tech lab like you see in the movies, just a regular office where we drink a lot of coffee and talk about what we did over the weekend. Being in IC Colony means there are plenty of good little places to grab a quick lunch nearby. We have been in this building for a while and the neighbors all know us by now. We do not really do big meetings or anything loud. We just stay focused on the travel data and keep things moving. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains heavy, but we usually manage to get through it. It is just a steady, practical way to work. (249 words)
