Alpine Travels & Tours Agency is located in the Prajakta Building, B Wing, over in Bandra East. We are right on Hennur Main Road, number 13 to be exact. It’s a small office where we handle travel arrangements for people who want to go somewhere new. We don’t have those big glossy posters you see in some malls. Instead, we have a few desks and a lot of maps and schedules pinned to the walls. Bandra is a busy place, and our office can get quite hectic when everyone wants to book a trip at the same time. My staff and I spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at computer screens to find decent prices for tickets. We don’t promise miracles, but we do our best to make sure the paperwork is sorted out properly. Sometimes the internet goes slow or the phones keep ringing, and we just have to deal with it one call at a time. We aren’t a global chain, just a local agency that knows the people in this neighborhood. Most of our clients come to us because their neighbor or cousin told them we were okay to deal with. It’s a lot of detail work, checking dates and names over and over again so nothing goes wrong. We like seeing the photos people bring back from their holidays, though we don’t get to travel as much ourselves. Running a travel agency means staying behind the desk while everyone else goes on an adventure.
