Down here in Thirunelveli, we run Allied Furnaces Pvt Ltd from our place on Middle Street. Specifically, we’re at 4-5, 7 Middle Street in Kadayalurutti. It’s a quiet part of Tamil Nadu, which suits us just fine. Dealing with furnaces means things can get pretty hot and heavy, so being in a spot we know well makes a big difference. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. Most of the guys working here are local, and we just get on with the job. It’s not a corporate environment by any means. We wear work clothes and get our hands dirty every single day. There’s always something to do with the equipment or the materials we handle. Sometimes the weather in Tamil Nadu gets really warm, and working around furnaces doesn't make it any cooler, but we’re used to it by now. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing fancy things. Most of our day is spent right there on Middle Street making sure the furnaces are doing what they should. It’s practical work for practical people. If you’re looking for us, we’re just past the post office area in the village. It’s a simple setup we’ve got, but it serves the purpose. We just focus on the heat and the metal and getting things out the door on time. We don't bother with much else besides the work itself.
