Al-Ken Industries

Our place is Unit B/51 inside the Raj Industrial Complex. We are on the first floor, which isn't too bad since we don't have to climb too many stairs. It’s on Marol Military Road in Andheri East. Anyone who works in Marol knows that these industrial complexes are like little cities of their own. There are hundreds of units around us, all making different things. Al-Ken Industries is just one part of that puzzle. Our unit is packed with whatever we’re working on at the moment. It can get a bit warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we get a big shipment in, but we’ve learned how to stack things to make room. We don’t have a reception desk or a waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us working right at the benches. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear comfortable clothes and talk about the cricket scores while we work. The neighborhood is always buzzing with people, and there’s always somewhere to grab a quick samosa or chai. It’s a busy, gritty part of Andheri, and it suits us just fine. We like the fact that we’re in a place where people actually build and fix things. It’s what we do best. We just try to get the orders out on time every day.
