Al Jabir Tours & Travels is right in the middle of Masjid Bunder West, which as anyone knows, is one of the busiest spots you can find. Our shops are numbers 6, 7, and 9 on the ground floor, so we have a bit of room to move around even when it gets crowded. Being right opposite Hamidiya Masjid helps people find us easily, especially on Fridays when the whole street is packed with people. We deal with travel stuff all day long. There’s always someone coming in asking about bus timings or train tickets or looking to plan a trip somewhere. It gets pretty loud with the traffic outside and people shouting, but that is just how Masjid Bunder is. We’ve been here for a while now and have seen the neighborhood change, though the mosque remains the same landmark it always was. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just some chairs and counters and a lot of paper everywhere. Sometimes the computers act up or the phones won't stop ringing, but we just handle it as it comes. It’s a family-run kind of feeling here. We know the other shop owners on the ground floor well. People stop by just to say hello or ask for directions because we are right there on the main path. It’s a lot of work keeping up with travel schedules, but being in such a lively area makes the day go by fast and keeps things interesting for everyone.
