The office is tucked away at 43A/1 in Jogeshwari West, specifically inside the Diwan Shopping Centre. If you are walking from the railway station, you can’t miss Ranade Road because it is always crowded with commuters. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and the walls are covered with old calendars and maps. It is not a very big room, but it fits what we need for organizing the Haj and Umrah trips. Usually, there is a fan humming in the corner while we look over visa papers and passports. We sit at the same wooden desks every day, answering calls and talking to people who walk in from the street. The noise from the market outside filters in through the windows, so it is never truly quiet here. We handle a lot of paperwork, mostly just making sure everything is in order for the travelers. There are stacks of folders everywhere. Sometimes we stay late to finish up the logs when the season gets busy. It is a simple place where we keep things moving. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the couriers to arrive. Being near the station means we see all sorts of people passing by. It is just a regular local office where we do our daily work without much fuss. We know the other shopkeepers in the center, and it feels like a small community inside the building. We just do the work.
