You will find our office way up on the 12th floor of Shankeshwar Tower. We are located in the A wing, specifically in flats 1203 and 1204. Our building is in Sudhapark, which is a part of Ghatkopar East. Being up on the 12th floor means we usually get a pretty nice breeze, which is a huge relief when the Mumbai humidity gets bad. Ghatkopar is an incredibly busy and crowded area, but once you get up to our floor, things quiet down quite a bit. We use these two converted flats as our main workspace for Aker Powergas. It is an unconventional setup, using residential flats as an office, but it works perfectly for us. It gives the whole place a much more personal and less corporate feel. We have our desks spread out across the different rooms. The kitchen area is mostly used for making constant rounds of tea and coffee for everyone. We’ve been based in this building for quite some time now. We know the security guards and the other residents who live here. It’s a friendly enough environment. We spend our work hours dealing with various power and gas projects, mostly doing things on our computers or over the phone. We don’t bother with any fancy decor or expensive furniture. We just have the basic things we need to get our work done properly. It’s a good, practical base for us.
