Our office is tucked away in the Vini Gardens building, B1-704, right near Mar Immaculate School. If you know that school in Borivli West, you can find us pretty easily. Madapeshwar Road is always crowded with kids and parents, especially in the mornings. We spend our days looking at flight schedules and trying to figure out visa requirements for people. The phones never seem to stop ringing, which can be a bit much sometimes. We have some old calendars on the wall and a lot of maps that nobody really looks at anymore because of the internet. The air conditioning works okay, but on really hot Mumbai days, we still feel it. We take turns going out to get tea for everyone. It’s a lot of typing and checking passport numbers over and over to make sure there are no typos. If you make a mistake on a ticket, it’s a big headache for everyone involved. We try to be careful, but we’re only human. The office gets a bit cramped when we have a few customers sitting in the chairs waiting. We just try to get through the list of bookings before the day ends. Borivli is a busy place to work, but it’s home for most of us. We just keep the wheels turning and handle the travel stuff as it comes in. It's a living, anyway.
