We are based in Borivali East, over at Shiv Hara CHS Ltd. Our office is A/202. If you know the area, it’s on Kanheri Road, just off Carter Road Number 2 in Dattapada. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, like most places here. Being on the second floor of a cooperative housing society means we are right in the thick of daily life. You hear the kids playing and people going about their business. Ak Hights And Structure (India) Private Limited is just us working from this apartment-turned-office. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the blueprints and files we have lying around. We’ve got desks pushed against the walls to make more room. The commute to Borivali is something we all deal with, so the office is a welcome sight in the morning. We don't have any flashy decorations. Just some calendars on the wall and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing. It’s a practical spot for us to manage things. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and checking on various bits of work. Sometimes the building meeting gets a bit loud, but that’s part of being in a CHS. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. It’s a local operation, and we like it that way. No corporate nonsense, just plain old hard work in a regular neighborhood building.
