A.K. Engineering Works

You can find A.K. Engineering Works over on N.S.S. Road in Ghatkopar West. We are right across from the Hero Honda Service Centre, and Trimurti Restaurant is just a short walk away. It’s a handy spot because if you’re waiting for something, you can always go grab a bite nearby. Our workshop is at number 12*. It's a busy stretch of road, so there’s always noise from the traffic mixing with the sound of our lathes. We do engineering repairs and custom jobs. The floor is usually dark with grease and there are piles of metal waiting to be worked on. It’s not the cleanest place, but we know where every nut and bolt is hidden. We don't spend money on fancy signs or glossy brochures. Most of our work comes from people in Ghatkopar who know we get things done. It’s a small team here, and we’ve been working together for a long time. We have our own ways of doing things that might look a bit old-fashioned to some, but it works for us. If the rain is heavy, we sometimes have to move the machines back from the doorway, but we stay open. We just take each day as it comes, fixing what's broken and making new parts when asked. It’s a good, solid way to earn a living. No fuss, just engineering work on a busy street.
