Ajmera Spices

Ajmera Spices is located in the Akashdeep Building, which is part of Damodar Park on Lbs Marg. Being in Ghatkopar West means we are right in the thick of Mumbai’s busy life. The building is easy to find if you know the area. We deal with spices every day, so there’s always a bit of a scent in the air around our workspace. It’s not a massive factory; it’s more of an office and a small storage point where we handle the distributions. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the black pepper, cardamom, and other things we carry. The Lbs Marg traffic can be a nightmare sometimes, but it’s part of living and working in this city. Our team is small, mostly just a few family members and some helpers who have been with us for years. We don’t have a PR department or anyone to write fancy things about us. We just sell spices to people who need them for their shops or kitchens. The floor is usually covered with some stray bits of packing material, and the phones ring quite a bit. We like the chaos of Ghatkopar. It keeps us on our toes. We don't really have a grand plan; we just want to make sure the spices are good and the customers are satisfied with what they buy from us. That’s how we’ve always done things here in Damodar Park, and it works for us.
