Ajinkya Tours

Ajinkya Tours is based out of shop number one in Giridhari Sadan, which is located in Dadar West. We are quite easy to find because we are near the Shiv Sena Bhavan, a landmark that everyone in Mumbai knows. Being in Dadar means we are right in the middle of everything. The streets are always packed with people and the energy is very high. Our shop is on the ground floor, so we see everyone walking past. We spend our days planning trips and talking to people who want to see new places. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but we enjoy the interaction. Giridhari Sadan is an older building, and it has that classic Dadar feel to it. Our office isn’t huge, but we have maps on the wall and plenty of brochures for people to look at. The noise from the main road is always there, but we’ve learned to talk over it. Sometimes the local tea seller brings us a cup while we are busy sorting out bus or train schedules. We don’t have a big corporate structure; it’s just us here in the shop making sure the tours are organized properly. People trust us because we’ve been in this spot for a while and we know the neighborhood like the back of our hand. It’s a good place to work, even if it gets a bit hectic when the festival seasons come around and everyone wants to travel at once.
