Our office for Air India is at 304 Lovely Home on Kalina Church Road in Santacruz-East. The building is called Lovely Home, and it’s a fairly typical Mumbai residential-commercial mix. We are on the third floor. It’s not a grand headquarters; it’s just a place where we get the work done. The street outside is usually full of people and cars going towards the church or the main market. We hear the bells and the horns all day long. Inside, we have our desks and our files. We deal with a lot of administrative stuff. It’s a lot of sitting at computers and making calls. We aren't trying to be fancy or use big words. We just work here. The office has been at this address for a long time, so we are part of the furniture in Santacruz-East. Most of us have been working together for years, so we know how to handle the busy days. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on being here and doing what needs to be done. 400029 is a busy pin code, and we are right in the middle of it. We take our tea breaks together and complain about the humidity just like everyone else. It’s an honest, simple setup. We are just people working in an office in a building that has seen better days. That is the long and short of it.
