We are located over in Malad West, specifically at A/10 in the Nirlon Co-Op Housing Society. It’s right near Chincholi Bunder on the Link Road. If you’ve ever been on Link Road, you know the traffic can be a nightmare in the evenings. Our office is part of this residential society, which makes it feel more like a home than a corporate headquarters. We represent Air India from here, mostly dealing with the admin side and local coordination. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate to our block, but the gardens are kept well enough. The office itself is pretty simple. We have old desks and some tall filing cabinets that have been here since before I started. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the flights and the schedules. It’s not the glamorous side of aviation, but it’s the side that makes sure the paperwork is in order. Sometimes the kids from the society play cricket outside our window and we have to tell them to be careful of the glass. It’s a very Mumbai way of working, being right in the middle of a housing complex. We don’t have any big missions or fancy slogans on the walls. We just come in, do our shift, and try to stay ahead of the paperwork. It’s just a regular day at the office for us here.
