Our office is tucked away in Jafar Baba Colony on Mount Mary Road in Mumbai. If you have been up to the church, you know the area can get quite crowded, especially during the feast weeks. We are at 72/12, working out of this spot to handle the ground side of things for the airline. Most of what we do involves the logistics and the people who make sure the planes actually get serviced and loaded. It is a bit of a distance from the actual airport, but this is where the administrative side of the transport work happens. It is a typical Mumbai setup where space is tight and everyone is always on the move. We spend our time looking at schedules, managing the staff rosters, and making sure the ground handling equipment is where it needs to be. It is not the kind of job you see on TV, it is just hard work behind the scenes. The building is an older one and we have been here a while. You’ll see the staff coming in and out at all hours because the airline business never really sleeps. We don't use a lot of fancy words for what we do, it is just about getting the baggage and the cargo onto the flights without any delays. The traffic on Mount Mary Road is always a thing, so we have to plan our days around it.
