Aerostar Holidays

The office for Aerostar Holidays is up on the second floor at 96 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road. We are quite close to GT Hospital in Vadgaon Budruk. It’s not a very big space, just a couple of desks, some old computers, and stacks of brochures that we probably should organize better. People come up the stairs to talk about where they want to go for their summer break or if they need a flight ticket to see family. It’s a lot of back-and-forth on the phone with airlines and trying to figure out which hotels actually look like their pictures. We spend most of the morning checking visa rules because they seem to change every other week. It’s mostly paperwork and squinting at screens, but it gets interesting when someone wants to go somewhere we’ve never booked before. We don't do those fancy group tours where everyone wears the same hat. It is more about helping a family get their train tickets or finding a decent room that doesn't cost a fortune. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a rattling noise, but we’ve gotten used to it. Sometimes the internet goes slow right when we are trying to confirm a booking, which is frustrating, but we manage. We just sit here and do the work, helping folks figure out the logistics of their trips. There is always someone coming in with a new question about a passport or a destination.
