Adventum Student Living Private Limited

Our office is way up on the 43rd floor of Lodha Bellisimo, which is on N M Joshi Marg in Mahalaxmi. Adventum Student Living Private Limited is what we call ourselves. Being in such a tall building in Mumbai means we spend a lot of time waiting for elevators, but the view is something else. We focus on housing for students, which is a big task in a city as crowded as this one. The office itself is full of binders and maps of the different college areas. It’s a private limited company, but it feels more like a small group of friends working together. We often eat our lunch while looking out at the trains passing by Mahalaxmi station. It’s a busy spot and the traffic down on the road is always a mess. We have a small coffee machine that makes a lot of noise but helps us get through the long afternoons. Our desks are usually piled high with applications and lease agreements. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where every paper is. We try to help students find a decent place to live so they can study without too much stress. It’s a lot of talking on the phone with landlords and parents. We don’t have any fancy marketing people. We just do the work from our high-rise office and hope the rain doesn't leak through the windows.
