Accutech Engineers

You’ll find Accutech Engineers way up on the 11th floor of Mahasthan Bhavan. It’s building number 38/40. Being that high up is a bit different from the usual workshops on the ground floor. We spend a lot of our time looking at technical drawings and talking to people about engineering problems. The elevator in this building is usually busy, so we’ve learned to be patient. It’s mostly office work here, not the heavy banging you find in a foundry. We have desks covered in calculators, pens, and stacks of paper. It gets quiet in the afternoons when everyone is focused. Sometimes we have to go out to sites to see how things are being built, but we always come back here to finish the reports. The 11th floor gives us a bit of a view, but mostly we are just looking at our screens or discussing some design change. We’ve been at this for a while. It’s not glamorous work. There’s a lot of checking and re-checking numbers to make sure everything adds up. We have a small pantry where we make coffee. Most of the people we work with are other businesses or contractors. We just try to keep things moving forward without too much fuss. It’s just a regular engineering office trying to get the job done right.
