We are over at Madina Market on Khairani Road. It’s a busy stretch in Andheri East, close to the Bhoopasandara Main Road side. Our place is shop number 20. It's mostly metal and heavy machinery here. We do a lot of shearing work, which means there’s often a bit of noise from the cutting. The market is always full of people moving materials back and forth. It can be a struggle to find parking nearby, so most people just pull up quickly or walk from the main road. Inside the shop, it’s all business. We have benches covered in tools and scrap bits of metal. It isn't a place for sitting around. We are usually busy with a client's order, making sure the cuts are where they should be. The walls are a bit scuffed from years of moving heavy plates around. We don't really have a front desk, just a counter where we talk to folks. Sometimes the tea man comes around and we take a five-minute break, but then it's back to the shears. It gets quite loud when everyone in the market is working at once. We like being in this part of Andheri because everything you need is right here. It’s a practical place for practical work. We just do the job and head home when the sun goes down.
