If you come by Sion Main Road, you will find our little art space over near Tc Palya. It’s not a huge studio, but we make it work. Most of the time, the tables are covered in paint splashes and charcoal dust, and we don't bother cleaning it off too much because it just happens again the next day. We teach all sorts of people here. Some are kids who just want to draw on everything, and others are adults looking for something to do on the weekends. It’s a bit noisy when the classes are full, and there is usually some music playing in the background to keep the mood light. We don't have a fancy curriculum or any high-end gallery lighting. We just have brushes, paper, and plenty of colors. Sometimes a lesson doesn't go as planned and everyone ends up with blue fingers, but that’s just how art goes. We have been here in this spot for a while now, and the neighbors are used to seeing us lugging supplies in and out. The front door sticks a little when it’s humid, and the floorboards creak, but it feels like home to us. We aren't trying to turn everyone into a professional; we just want people to enjoy the process of making something. It is a simple, messy, and honest way to spend the afternoon in Sion. We just keep painting.
