Aakanksha Group is situated in Mumbai, and like many businesses here, we’ve learned to make the most of the space we have. Mumbai is a crowded place, and we are right in the middle of that energy. We don't have a specific landmark listed because we have different spots, but we are a local group through and through. Our office is a place where there is always a lot of talk and a lot of planning going on. It’s usually quite loud with phones ringing and people discussing projects across the room. We don't go in for the whole "modern office" look with bean bags or glass walls. We have wooden desks, some old filing cabinets, and plenty of pens that never seem to work when you need them. The office is where we spend most of our waking hours, so it feels a bit like a second home, complete with the messy corners and the stack of old newspapers. We get our work done without making a big fuss about it. People come in, we have a quick chat, and we figure out what needs to happen next. It’s just how things work in this city. You stay busy, you keep your head down, and you try to make things happen. It’s a practical, everyday kind of business. We’ve been around for some time and we just focus on the day-to-day work without needing any fancy mission statements or corporate polish to get us through the week.
