Aai General Store

Aai General Store is a small shop located at 37 on the 70 Feet Road in Borivali West. It’s not a big place with glass windows or fancy lights. We just have the basic stuff that families in this part of Mumbai need every day. The road outside is usually quite busy with cars and people walking to the station. We spend a lot of our time just standing behind the counter waiting for the next person to walk in. We’ve been at this address for a while and the people around here know us by face. We don't really have a website or any of that stuff. We just open the doors and sell things like soap, biscuits, and flour. Some mornings are very slow and we just sit and watch the traffic go by. Other times, like in the evenings, it gets so crowded that we can barely keep up with everyone. The shelves are a bit crowded because we try to fit in as much as we can in the small space we have. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to move things away from the door. It’s a simple way to make a living. Borivali West is a good place to be even if it’s noisy. We just keep doing what we do every day without much fuss. If you are walking down 70 Feet Road, you will see our sign.
