Aadarsh Bhelpuri & Cnana Mart

My family has been running Aadarsh Bhelpuri & Cnana Mart in Daulat Nagar 4 for quite a long time now. It’s a bit of a mix here, selling snacks and some groceries at the same time. Borivali East is a busy area, so there’s always someone stopping by for a quick bite or picking up things they forgot for dinner. We don’t have any big signs or fancy decorations. It’s just a counter and some shelves. Sometimes we run out of things faster than we can restock them, especially on weekends when everyone is out. The bhelpuri is something we make right there. It’s messy work with the chutneys and the puffed rice, but people seem to like it. We have a few regulars who come in every single day just to chat for a minute. The shop isn't very big, so it gets crowded quickly. We try to keep things organized, but in a small space like this, it’s a struggle. Daulat Nagar is a good neighborhood. Everyone knows everyone else's business. We’ve seen kids grow up and start coming in with their own children. It makes the days go by faster. We don’t really do any advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here. It’s hard work standing on your feet all day, but it’s what we know. We stay open late most nights because that's when the crowd comes in from the station after work.
