A One Mewad Super Ice Cream

The area around Infocity Ch Circle in Gandhinagar gets really lively when the sun starts to set. That is when we start getting the most people coming into the shop. We do the Mewad style ice cream, which is a bit different from what you find in the big grocery stores. It is thicker and we spend a lot of time stirring things in the back. The shop in Ghatkopar West is where the main office is, but here on the ground, it is all about the scoops. We have a few benches where people can sit, but they are usually wobbly because the ground is not perfectly flat. The walls could use a new coat of paint, to be honest, but we are usually too busy to get around to it. We keep the napkins in a plastic holder that always seems to get stuck. It is just a regular place where people come to hang out for a bit. Sometimes students from the nearby colleges come in and stay for an hour just talking. We do not mind as long as they are happy. The freezers have that specific smell of cold air and sweet cream. We just keep our heads down and work through the rush every night. It is a good way to spend the day, seeing people enjoy something simple like a bowl of ice cream. We do not have a fancy menu, just the flavors listed on a board.
