If your car's AC is acting up, you might find your way to our place at Shop No 29 in Vasant Sagar. We are located in the Samta area of Kandivali East, specifically over in Talegaon Dabhade near the police station. It’s a handy spot because everyone in the neighborhood knows where the station is. The shop is usually filled with a couple of cars and a lot of tools lying around the floor. It gets pretty hot in the afternoon, especially when we are working on engines that have just come off the road. We spend our days refilling gas, checking for leaks, and fixing fans so people don't melt in their cars. My overalls are usually covered in some kind of grease or dirt by lunchtime. We have a small bench where customers can sit and wait, but most people just drop their cars off and come back later. It’s a busy street, so there’s always cars honking outside and people walking by. We have a small radio that plays music while we work to keep things from getting too quiet. It’s just a small team here, and we’ve been fixing car cooling systems for a long time. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with tea, but we know how to get the air blowing cold again. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought, and we end up staying until it’s finished. It is just basic mechanical work.
