You can find A. A. Arts over in Jogeshwari East. We are located in Chawl No 742 on S V P Road, specifically in the Kem Koliwada Plot area. It’s a very local neighborhood, and we are right near Infant Jesus High School. You can often hear the kids playing or the school bell ringing from our workspace. Our shop is part of the old chawl system, so it’s a tight-knit community where everyone knows everyone else. We do art related work, but it’s more of a hands-on, dusty kind of art than a clean gallery style. We have tools and materials scattered around because we are always in the middle of a project. It’s not a quiet office; there’s usually the sound of hammering or cutting going on. We started here because the rent was manageable and it was close to home. Over time, we’ve just become part of the street. We don't have a big sign or a polished storefront. Most people just know us as the arts place near the school. We take orders, we work on them, and we give them back to the customers. Sometimes things take longer than expected because we do everything by hand. It’s a simple way of life. We enjoy being in Jogeshwari and being part of the daily bustle on S V P Road. It’s not perfect, but it is our place and it suits the way we like to work on things.
