Hind Crafts

We’ve been running things from 29 Prince Road for quite a few years now. It’s a straightforward setup where we mostly focus on getting our hands on the materials and seeing what we can make. At Hind Crafts, we don’t spend much time on fancy meetings or sitting around in suits. Usually, the day starts early before the traffic on Prince Road gets too loud, and we get the machines going. It’s a bit of a workspace, messy at times with scraps and tools lying around where someone just put them down. We try to keep things organized, but when you're busy, things tend to pile up on the benches. My brother often says we need a bigger space, but we’ve gotten used to this corner. The lighting isn’t the best in the back, but we know where everything is by heart. We get a mix of people coming through the door, some who know exactly what they need and others who just want to see what’s new on the shelf. We don't do much talking about goals or visions, we just make sure the items are solid before they get boxed up. Sometimes the delivery guys stay for a cup of tea if the weather is particularly bad outside. It's just a normal day-to-day operation here, nothing too special, just honest work done by people who’ve been doing this long enough to know the tricks of the trade. We just keep our heads down.
