Al Haneef Handicraft

Al Haneef Handicraft is located in Moh. Houz Katora. We are right near Masjid Darziyan in the Sarai Tareen area of Sambhal. It is a very traditional neighborhood, and we fit right in. Our work involves making handicrafts that have been part of this region for generations. We don't use big machines; it’s mostly just us and our tools. The workshop is usually filled with the sounds of scraping and polishing. Being near the mosque means we hear the call to prayer throughout the day, which gives a nice rhythm to our work. It’s a small space, and we often have to move things around just to find a place to sit. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us covered in dust from the materials we use. Sambhal is famous for this kind of work, and we are proud to be part of that history. We sell to locals and also to people who travel here specifically for the handicrafts. We don't promise anything other than what you see. Every piece takes time and effort. Sometimes we stay late into the evening to finish an order. It’s just the way we do things here in Sarai Tareen. We’ve been here for years and hope to stay for many more. It's just simple work we do.
