Down in Bartan-Bazar, you'll find Anurag Handicrafts. We are right in the heart of the Moradabad Brass Market, which is a loud and busy place to be. There is always the sound of metal being worked nearby. We spend our days surrounded by brass items of all shapes and sizes. It’s dusty work and our hands are rarely clean, but that’s part of the trade. Moradabad is known for this kind of stuff, and we’ve been part of it for quite some time now. Our shop isn't very large, and it's packed to the ceiling with stock. You have to be careful where you step sometimes. We don't really do the big showroom thing; it's more about the actual work and the items themselves. People come from all over to the Brass Market, and some of them end up in our little corner of Bartan-Bazar. We show them what we have, talk about the different finishes, and usually find something they like. It’s a simple life, really. We get the raw materials, do what needs to be done, and hope the customers are satisfied. Every piece has its own little quirks because they aren't made by a machine in a big factory. We like it that way. If you’re ever wandering through the market, look for us. It’s a bit of a maze, but worth the walk.
