45 Natural Handicrafts

We are 45 Natural Handicrafts and we operate out of H-51 in Lajpat Nagar. Our shop is located near Tulsi Plaza in the village of Dakouli. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, though it gets a bit busy on market days. We spend our days making things by hand using natural materials that we find or buy locally. It is not a massive factory with machines running all day long. Instead, it is just a few of us sitting together and working on different pieces. We make stuff like wooden items and woven goods. Because everything is done by hand, you might notice small differences between two items that are supposed to be the same. We think that’s just part of how things go when you don't use a mold. We have been in this spot for a while now and the neighbors know us well. We don't have a fancy office or a big reception area. You just walk into the workspace and see us working. There is usually dust on the floor and scraps of wood in the corner. We like it that way because it shows we are actually doing something. If you are looking for something that looks like it came out of a plastic factory, we are probably not the right place for you. We just keep things simple and try to do honest work every day. It’s a small life but it suits us. We usually close up when the sun goes down and head home to our families.
