Al Qutab Handicraft

Our workshop, Al Qutab Handicraft, is tucked away in Mohlla Mangal Pura. People around here know the landmark Goly Wali Emli, and we are right near there in the Saritareen area. It is one of those old neighborhoods where everyone knows each other. We work on handicrafts in a small space that we have used for years. It isn't a fancy showroom or anything. Mostly, it is just a place where we sit and work on the details of the items we make. Sometimes the air smells like the materials we use. We don't have a lot of workers, just a few of us who have the skills. The street outside can be noisy with people passing by and children playing. We keep the doors open usually to let some air in. It is a very normal, local setup. We don't do big advertisements. We just rely on the fact that we have been here a long time. Most of our tools are old but they still work fine for what we need to do. Saritareen is a busy place, and being near the Goly Wali Emli makes it easy for our suppliers to drop things off. We just do our work, chat with the neighbors, and try to make things that people find useful. It is a simple way to make a living for all of us here. We usually close up when the sun goes down and the street gets quiet.
