You can find Zunaid Hair Salon on the Main Road in Phool Bagh Colony, right near the Deep Dental Clinic. Being on Phool Bagh Road means we see a lot of people passing by every single day. The shop has been here for a good amount of time, and we have become a familiar face in this part of Meerut. It is a humble place with blue walls and a few spinning chairs that have been repaired more than once. We do not have a fancy reception or anything like that. You just walk in, find a spot on the bench, and wait your turn. Most of the time, the television is on, usually showing a movie or the news. We handle all kinds of hair, from kids who won't sit still to the older men who have been coming here since we first opened. The sink in the back leaks a little bit, but we keep a bucket under it and it works fine for washing hair. We try to keep the scissors sharp and the combs clean.
