Aditi Beauty Parloor

Our shop is Shop No 1 in Saradhapuri Phase 2, which is in the Kanker Khera area of Meerut. We are right near Vinayak Hospital. It is a small shop in a quiet part of the phase. We have a glass front so you can see inside from the road. There are a couple of chairs for hair work and a small partitioned area for other things. We don't have a lot of space, but it’s enough for the people who come by. Kanker Khera is a mix of homes and small businesses, so it feels like a community. The walls inside are painted a light shade, and we have some pictures of hairstyles pinned up. We do a lot of basic beauty work for the women who live in Saradhapuri. Sometimes we have to wait a while between customers, so we just sit and watch the street or tidy up the shelves. The hospital nearby means there is always some traffic, but our specific lane is usually okay for parking a scooter. We’ve been here for a bit now, and most of our tools are ones we’ve used for years. It is a simple life running a small parlor like this. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just do the work as best as we can and hope people are satisfied. The sign outside is simple and we keep the glass clean.
