Ajanta Beauty Salon

Up on the first floor of Ganpati Complex, you will find Ajanta Beauty Salon. We are at 169-A in the Abulane area of Meerut. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it is quieter than being right on the sidewalk. We are near the Naveen Hotel, which is a good landmark for people who are not from this part of town. The shop has been around for a long time. We have regulars who have been coming to us since they were children. It is a comfortable place with a lot of history in the walls. We have the usual salon equipment and some comfortable chairs for waiting. I spend a lot of time talking to the customers about their lives. It feels more like a community spot than a business sometimes. We handle hair and skin treatments for the local ladies. The light in the complex is not the best, so we have plenty of lamps inside to make sure everything looks right. We are not a chain or a big franchise. We are just a local salon trying to do right by our neighbors. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just life in Meerut.
