Altab Hair Cuttingv Saloon is the name of my place on Ambedkar Road. We are in the Kanker Khera area, specifically in Arya Nagar in Meerut. The pin code is 250001. I have lived in Meerut my whole life and this shop is where I spend most of my days. It is a very simple hair cutting shop. There really isn't much to say about it other than we do what we are supposed to do for the people who walk in. Ambedkar Road is a busy street, so there is always a lot of noise and movement outside the window. Kanker Khera is growing quickly, but Arya Nagar still feels like a small village where everyone knows each other. I get a lot of guys from the nearby market coming in for a trim. The name on the board says "Cuttingv" because the guy who painted it made a small mistake, but I never bothered to fix it. It has just become a part of the shop's identity over the years. We have two mirrors and a few stools for people who are waiting. I try to keep my tools sharp and the towels as clean as I can. It is a basic service for a fair price. I don't really follow the new fashion trends, I just give regular haircuts. Most people around here are happy with that. It’s an honest living in my corner of Meerut.
