Akarti Beauity Parlour

Akarti Beauity Parlour is a small place on Shardapuri Road. We are in the Kanker Khera part of Meerut, specifically near the Khirva Road intersection. It's a quiet enough area most days, except when schools let out. We have been working out of this shop for a good bit of time. It is not a luxury spa or anything like that, just a regular beauty parlour for the local women. We do the usual things like eyebrows and hair. The chairs are comfortable enough for a quick visit. Most of our neighbors know us by name and just drop in when they have a free hour. We keep the shop open in the 250001 zip code area. Sometimes the lights flicker but we just keep going. It’s a simple setup with a few mirrors and the tools we need for our work. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Meerut. We just want to do a decent job for the people who live on Shardapuri Road and the nearby streets. Often, there's a bit of tea being shared while we wait for the next person to arrive. The floor gets covered in hair by midday, but we sweep it up when we can. It’s a real place where real work happens. We like it here in Kanker Khera and don't plan on moving.
