Aataf Hair Saloon

Our shop, Aataf Hair Saloon, is located in the Ganga Nagar area of Meerut City. We are right opposite IIMT College, so we see many students coming in for a quick trim between their classes. It is a basic gents' saloon with the usual barber chairs and a row of mirrors along the wall. I opened this place because I wanted to work for myself in a neighborhood I know well. We do haircuts, shaves, and head massages. It is nothing too complicated. The shop can get a bit loud when the college kids are all hanging out together, but it keeps the energy up. We have some old magazines on the table for people waiting their turn, though most people just look at their phones now. The location is good because people coming from the college or the nearby houses find it easy to stop by. We open early in the morning and stay open until late evening. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so we are always sweeping up. It is a simple life running a barber shop. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. If you are looking for a fancy place with tea and coffee, this isn't it. We just provide a decent haircut and a place to sit for a few minutes. It is just a regular business on a busy street in Meerut.
